Ronald R. Upchurch, 84, of Waterloo, IL, died June 26, 2021, in Waterloo, IL. He was born October 15, 1936, in Princeton, IN.

He is survived by his wife Rosemarie Upchurch nee Feldmeier; children Scott (Julie) Upchurch and Laura (Darryl) Schilling; grandchildren Michael Upchurch, Ethan Schilling, and Tate Schilling; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents Roy Headley & Margaret (nee Horrell) Upchurch and brother Jack Upchurch

He was a Mason and member of Maeystown Preservation Society, NMLRA, Shriner's, St. John UCC - Maeystown, active in Boy Scouts of America, and was an Eagle Scout.

As an expression of sympathy the family prefers memorial contributions to: 
Multiple Sclerosis
or Monroe County Humane Society

Memorial Visitation:
3 PM to 7 PM Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Quernheim Funeral Home

Memorial Service:
7 PM Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo, IL

Ron & I worked together at a Work Weekend at the NMLRA what a wonderful fellow he was. I've kept that memory with me & think of him often. I'm sure he will be missed by his family & friends I know I'll miss him. Rest in Pease Ron.

Ron always welcomed Terri and me into the conversations and brought me back to my roots! He and Rosemarie have always been an inspiration for me. Thank you, Ron, for that inspiration, the gift of an awesome son and daughter-in-law, daughters doing son-in-law and your influences on your grandkids and all youve met. Im a fortunate man because of it. Well done!

Ron was the instigator of our Friday night dinner club. What a great idea! Will always remember how the girls loved to bring him a nice, cold Stag! Cheerrs to you Ronnie!
