Shirley M. Schroeder nee Protte, 89, of Waterloo, IL, died September 16, 2015 in St. Louis, MO. She was born January 4, 1926 in St. Louis, MO.

She is survived by her children Larry (Judy) Schroeder and Sandra (Michael) Hamby, grandchildren Bob Schroeder, Dina (Dennis) Crider, Andy (Kristi) Schroeder, Scott Siedle, Brooke Hamby, Jeff Hamby, & Matthew Hamby, great grandchildren Jocilyn Crider, Tessa Crider, Jackson Schroeder, Ella Schroeder, Morgan Hamby, & Conner Hamby, sister Helen Krieg, niece Kathy Carey, great niece Marissa Carey, special friend Susan Naumann.

She was preceded in death by her parents Robert & Hilda (nee Buescher) Protte, & husband Herman E. Schroeder.

Visitation will be at Quernheim Funeral Home from 4 PM to 8 PM Monday September 21, 2015 and at St. Paul United Church of Christ Waterloo, IL from 9 AM until time of service September 22, 2015.

Funeral will be at 10 AM Tuesday September 22, 2015 at St. Paul United Church of Christ Waterloo, IL with Pastor James Watson officiating and burial will be at St. John Cemetery in Mehlville, MO.

Shirley was a member St. Paul UCC - Waterloo.
