Shirley R. M. Steppig, nee Buncher, 90, of Waterloo, IL, died April 24, 2023, in Columbia, IL. She was born April 25, 1932, in Waterloo, IL.

 She is survived by her son Dennis Dannehold; sister-in-law Pat Buncher; and cousins.

 Shirley is preceded in death by her husband Eugene L. Steppig; parents Frank  & Alma  (nee Schneider) Buncher; and brother Roy Buncher.

 She was a member of SS Peter and Paul Church.
