Siriphen Santilukka

Siriphen  Santilukka, 79, of Red Bud, IL, died February 22, 2023, in Red Bud, IL. She was born June 16, 1943, in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Beloved wife, loving mother, and grandmother, Siriphen is survived by her husband, Dr. Pichet Santilukka; children Pinij (Merce) Santilukka, Chuanpis (Christophe Mosby) Santilukka, Chulee (James) Hallick, and Charles (Pearl) Santilukka; and grandchildren Alexandra and Ester Santilukka, Sabine and Marco Mosby, Ethan and Hannah Hallick, and Zachary and Sophie Santilukka.

 Siriphen is preceded in death by her parents Tong & Kampang Kantakalung and her sister Poolsawat.

 Born in Thailand, Siriphen, also known as “Penny” to many, graduated from the McCormick Nursing school in 1966. She moved to the United States in 1969 after marrying her husband, Pichet. She cared for others as a nurse in Evanston, Illinois before they moved to Red Bud in 1973. The two raised their family of four children in Red Bud, Illinois.

Penny will forever be remembered for her kindness, gentle spirit, smile, and devotion to her family. She will also be remembered for her cooking, especially her egg rolls and fried rice.
