Stephen K. May, 72, of Waterloo, IL, died February 12, 2024, in Waterloo, IL. He was born July 6, 1951, in E. St. Louis, IL.

    He is survived by his children Tracy May, Steven May, Betsey May, Bailey (Zachary) Favazza, and Lauren Ruzich; grandchildren Kendahl May, Ivan Montgomery, and Freya Montgomery; half sister Ramona (Barritt) Good; lifelong companion Kathy May; nieces; nephews; and cousins.

    Stephen is preceded in death by his father Herman James May; mother Elizabeth "Betty" Alice (nee Howard) Faries; brother Herman James May II; and stepfather Richard Faries.

    He was a United Auto Workers member.
