Stephen G. Mitchell, 72, of Waterloo, IL, died May 19, 2026, in St. Louis, MO. He was born April 16, 1954, in St. Louis, MO.
He is survived by his wife Toni E. Mitchell, nee Delre; children Sarah Elizabeth (Daniel J.) Carten and Stephen Eric (Ashley) Mitchell; grandchildren Zachary Ryan Mitchell, Mason Christopher Mitchell, and Caroline Elizabeth Carten; brothers and sister Dennis Mitchell, Keith (Candy) Mitchell, Phillip Mitchell, and Patricia (Richard) Schulte; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents Alfred Bernard and Marie Elizabeth (nee Luebbers) Mitchell Jr.
Stephen was a member of the Waterloo Oddfellows and the D and B Club.
