Steven P. Schmeltz, 69, of Chesterfield, MO, died June 9, 2026, in St. Louis, MO. He was born April 9, 1957, in Red Bud, IL.
He is survived by his wife Katherine Schmeltz nee Telposky; children Amanda (John III) Bell and Justin (Ashley) Schmeltz; grandson John Bell IV; sisters and brother Kathleen Oberto, Elaine (Michael) Williams, and Glenn (Denise) Schmeltz; nieces: nephews; and cousins.
Steven is preceded in death by his parents Carl H. and Imogene Lucille (nee Dodson) Schmeltz; brother David Schmeltz.
