My sincere condolences to the entire family and extended families. My Mom, Malvena Mae (Belmer, ne Himmaugh was Stevie's Aunt, Dorris 's Sister) and Mom would send us from California to visit my relatives in Waterloo and Redbud Missouri and our relatives Granite City, Edwardsville, and Litchfield, Illinois during the summers when I was very young, before I turned 14...was the last time I remember visiting, then, briefly for Dorris's 50th birthday, which was also My Mom's 52nd birthday April 30...I remember when Stevie had fallen from a tree in his yard and a twig ran thru his ear...it happened before I visited one year...My love to all...Dovie, Scott, Loren, David, etal. God bless you all. Sorry for your loss...You are all lifted in my daily prayers...you always have been. Miss you all.

I worked with Steve at the Waterloo Country Club in the early 80s. He was fun, friendly, and wise for his age. My sympathy to his family.
