William Joseph Novack

William Joseph "Bill" Novack, 90, of Waterloo, IL, died October 24, 2025, in Waterloo, IL. He was born October 25, 1934, in Chester, IL.

He is survived by his children Mark Novack, Ellen Gates, John (Susan) Novack, Julie (Wayne) Reichling, and Ryan (Megan Juenger) Novack; grandchildren Benjamin Gates, Blake (Jordan) Novack, Monica (Chadd Lounder) Novack, Emma Novack, Natalie Novack, Amber Reichling, Emily (Kevin) Kleinschmidt, Abigail Reichling, Derez Sayles, Caidence Hergenroeder, and Aspen Stout; great grandchildren Lola Gates, Gavin, Primrose, Alaric, and Leighton Novack, Ava Binger, and Kinze Kleinschmidt; and brother Noel (Nancy) Novack.

He is preceded in death by his parents Roman A. and Hazel (nee Mabuce) Novack; and former wife Shirley Korvas Novack Fischer.

Bill was a PPM Sr. Boiler Supervisor at retirement of 41 years with Ameren U.E.
He was a Waterloo City Alderman for 8 years and Waterloo Volunteer Fireman for 38 years. In retirement he worked at the Waterloo Country Club for 20 years as a dedicated groundskeeper forced to retire due to his illness.
