He was a member of 1st Baptist Church in Columbia, Illinois, National Rifle Association, and an avid car fan. Michael loved racing - anything with wheels, and in his younger years, he even raced his own car. His employment even was about cars, as he was a body man, appraiser, and claims adjuster. He also enjoyed hunting with his family and playing the banjo with his brother Rick. Michael was very humorous. His humor was quick and he loved joking with friends and loved ones. Above all else, he loved helping people. His kindness, thoughtfulness, and loving ways will be missed.
